Signals Notebook: Sign and add reviewers to an Experiment in Signals

Agent

Below is the usual workflow in Signals Notebook to sign an Experiment and add reviewers. Menu names can vary slightly by tenant/version and by your organization’s configured signing workflow.

Sign an Experiment and add reviewers

  1. Open the Experiment

    • Go to the relevant Experiment in Signals Notebook.
    • Make sure all required content is complete and saved.
  2. Start the signing workflow

    • Click Sign, Sign and Add Reviewers, Request Signature, or the signature/review icon in the Experiment toolbar or menu.
    • In some configurations, this may be under the More actions menu, usually shown as ....
  3. Review the Experiment

    • Confirm that the Experiment content is final.
    • If required, select a signing meaning such as:
      • Author signature
      • Completed by
      • Reviewed by
      • Approved by
  4. Sign the Experiment

    • Enter your credentials if prompted.
    • This may be your Signals password, SSO confirmation, or electronic signature credentials.
    • Confirm the certification statement, then click Sign, Submit, or Confirm.
  5. Add reviewers

    • In the reviewer selection step, click Add Reviewer or Add Reviewers.
    • Search for users by name or email.
    • Select the required reviewer or approver.
    • If available, assign a role such as:
      • Reviewer
      • Witness
      • Approver
    • Optionally add a due date or comment.
  6. Send the review request

    • Click Send, Submit for Review, or Request Review.
    • The selected reviewers should receive a task or notification in Signals Notebook.

What reviewers do

Reviewers can usually access the request from:

  • Their Tasks list
  • Notifications
  • The Experiment’s Signatures, Review, or History panel

They open the Experiment, review the content, and then click Sign, Approve, or Reject, depending on the configured workflow.
